Fish Industry Training Association (Highlands & Islands) Ltd. is a Seafish Approved Training Provider with Seafish Approved Trainers and courses. We specialise in providing and promoting training, learning, skills and qualifications along with technical advice, resources and services, especially for companies, business and individuals in all sectors of the fish industry.
FITA employs and sub contracts specialist, highly experienced, well qualified staff deployed across the Highlands -- the Highland mainland, Argyll & Bute and the Inner Isles. It operates in other areas with the knowledge and agreement of the local fish industry Seafish approved training provider.
FITA covers the fish industry “from water to plate” majoring in the catching and processing sectors but also providing services to the wholesale and retail fish trade plus fish & chip shops and seafood restaurants/hotels.
