Fishermen who have completed the above watch keeping course, the 2 day engineering course and the 1 day stability course may be eligible for an MCA certificate of competence.

Any fisherman who has completed SVQ level 3 inshore skipper ticket course may be eligible for an MCA BOAT MASTER'S LICENCE.
